Free Aero Xtreme 7 Theme for Windows 7
If you love transparency, this one's for you!
This VS changes the taskbar transparency in Windows 7 to match the normal and maximized frames transparency levels like it was in build 7000. It works with all Windows 7 colors, in all screen positions (bottom, top, right, left) and for large and small icons.
The taskbar images have been carefully edited so that all parts of the taskbar match flawlessly while maintaining perfect Aero lines.

Free Alternative Theme for Windows 7
To use it just copy the theme to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes
Then install the file Alternative.themepack to triger the other theme's properties
Also if you haven't, you need to patch uxtheme with NiwradSoft UxTheme Patcher 1.3 to be able to use 3rd party themes.

Free Skull Theme for Windows 7 (Visual Style)
This pack contains the files needed to change your computers visual style (aero.msstyle and explorer.exe) aswell as the patch's needed for this visual style to work on the Windows 7 RC.
Aswell as the visual style this pack also contains the icons featured in the preview aswell as a few custom ones made by me. Also it contains the blades of grass wallpaper that is featured in the preview.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO INSTALL
------------------------------
Step 1: Go into C:\windows\system32\ and then take ownership of and replace,
themeservice.dll, themeui.dll and uxtheme.dll with the three files in the
windows 7 RC Ux Theme Patch folder supplied in this download. (If you are
running a version of windows 7 different to the RC build google a Ux theme
patch for your specific build and follow the same steps as before but with
the different files)
Step 2: Go into C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Aero and firstly take ownership
of the current aero visual style file and then rename the file, aero original.
Now that the file has been renamed go into the Skull Visual Style folder
that has been supplied in the download and copy the file named aero into the
C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Aero folder. Make sure this folder now includes
the 2 versions of the aero file, the one you have renamed aero backup and the
one you have just copied into the folder.
Step 3: Now restart you computer and your visual style should now have changed.
Step 4: To change the start orb go back into the folder Skull visual style and
copy the file named explorer. Now go into C:\windows\ and find the file named
explorer that already exists and take ownership of it. Now rename that file to
explorer backup and copy the explorer file from the skull visual style folder
into this location.
Step 5: Open your start menu and hold down shift, ctrl and rigth click the menu,
a box shoudl appear with 2 options, exit explorer and properties, click on exit
explorer. You will notice that all windows will close and you taskbar disappears.
Now press ctrl, shift, escape and this will open up the task manager. Click on the
applications button at teh top of the menu and then at the bottom of the
applications menu click on new task. In the box that appears type in explorer.
This will re open windows explorer and your taskbar will reappear with the new
start button.
Now you are finished and the transformation is now complete. I hope you enjoy this
visual style and thank you for your download and support.
If you want to return to the defualt aero visual style follow all of the above steps
but replacing the current aero and explorer files with the ones you previously renamed
explorer backup and aero backup.

Free Aero Plain Theme for Windows 7
This is a minor mod of the basic Aero theme for Windows 7.
It removes:
- White gradient in upper corners of window frames
- White diagonal stripes behind all aero glass (window frames, taskbar, etc.)
The theme makes Aero look much better against dark wallpapers.
To use, first download and run the Universal Theme Patcher [link]
Then download theme, and extract it to C:/Windows/Resources/Themes
Go into the Themes folder, and double-click on aeroplain.theme to apply.

Free Aero Reloaded Theme for Windows 7
This is a theme to be used with Windows 7 RC1 Build 7100 (I think it works in newer builds too)... The theme has also an Aero Basic mod, not pictured above.

Free AeroCopy Theme for Windows 7 RC x64
• no white components in window borders
• no Minimize, Maximize and Сlose button borders
• button selection glow is reworked
I only tested it on x64 version on Windows 7 so I'm not sure if it works on x86 build. Anyway you need a universal patcher for system files to make custom visualstyles work. You can find it over the web.
